So, what exactly is Recycled
POPart?
It's the name I've given for re-purposing aluminum cans into beautiful
artwork & jewelry.
I have a bounty of collected pop
cans from which I select the perfect color for the piece I'm working on. Can
pieces are cut by hand and attached to wood panels or frames with nails; this
technique causes the metal to ripple & reflect light. I love it! Unlike toxic
glue, the nails do not harm the environment or knock me out with noxious fumes.
And that's a very good thing!
Each completed artwork is unique,
one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
